Who needs a dental implant?

Can I receive implant?
If there is sufficient bone to place the implant, anyone can receive this treatment. There is no upper age limit that might prevent application in patients with a good overall health condition. The only reservation might be for younger patients that haven’t completed their bone development yet.
What if I don’t have any teeth or bone?
If you have no teeth on your upper jaw and lower jaw, we will usually place 6 Implants along the upper jaw and 6 Implants along the lower jaw. These implants will support a full set of crowns. Now, this absolutely depends on the number of teeth you want to replace and if you have no teeth on your upper jaw and lower jaw then we implant nearly 12 to 14 artificial teeth. And if there is a need of filling of gaps between the teeth, then you may need 2 dental implants. All this can be examined after analyzing your X-ray and structure of the jaw.
Is dental implant painful?
The expertise of the dentist is important here. During the process of surgery, we use some amount of anesthesia. You will not even feel your jaw. The next few days you will use strong painkillers to prevent any pain afterwards.
